How and what we do

 •    We are licensed with the state of Texas as a breeder. License #337.
    •    To protect the health of our Dachshunds visitors are not allowed to bring any pets onto our premises at anytime. The safety and health of all of our dogs is our first and foremost concern.
    •  Appointments to visit must be scheduled in advance.   We are not available everyday of  the week for appointments. Please email us at [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
    •   We will not take deposits from a Business, broker, etc. We do not knowingly sell our puppies to brokers or puppy mills. Deposits to reserve our puppies are $200 to $300 and are non refundable unless in the unfortunate event that your puppy become ill or perish.
    •    We reserve the right to refuse placement of one of our babies if we do not feel the home is a good fit.

    •    We do not let our puppies leave until they are 8 weeks old, and sometimes a few days past if they are not eating to our requirements.  This is NOT negotiable.  If the timing is going to be an issue, then we recommend you wait until it is "not" an issue any longer.  Our puppies well being is and will always be our first priority!
    •    We deworm our puppies every 2 weeks until they are 8 weeks old, then every 3 weeks until they are 4 months old and then once a month until they are 1 year old.  Adults are dewormed every 30 days.  If a Mom is pregnant she is dewormed an additional time 1-2 weeks before her due date.
    •    We administer all vaccines according to recommended canine guidelines.
    •    At 4 weeks old we give a Parvo shot (Neopar), at 6 weeks we start their first of three 5 & 1 vaccinations, and administer them every 3 weeks as long as they are in our care until they are finished.
    •    We start the weaning process at 6.5 weeks of age to give the puppies plenty of time to adjust to being on their own before they go to their forever home at 8 weeks old.
    •    Pet price means the puppy comes with AKC or APRI registration (depending on the parents registration) with no breeding rights.
    •    As with most breeders, we require the puppy be seen by your Veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption for your protection as well as ours.  This visit is to verify the puppy is as healthy as we say he/she is, as well as get established with your Vet for a continuation of puppy vaccinations, dewormings, etc.
